i just got back from a small leadership conference that was held in our area today. erwin mcmanus
was the speaker and he talked a bit about imagination and creativity when it comes to churches. we actually spent most of our time listening to him interact with us and answer questions. i appreciated his honesty and i really enjoyed getting pushed to see things differently. you could tell that he is frustrated with how some christians carry themselves, interact with each other and the world. i would share these frustrations but it seems he has been experienced them more then i have. i hope that as i work at the church and encounter obstacles along the way that the life is not sucked out of me. i will write more about my thoughts from today but for now, just a thank you to erwin for his time and his stories.
