change...

so new car is settling in and we'll be settling on the new house in two weeks. lots of new going on. With the amount of change that kristi and i are going through now and considering that we went through a lot of new changes just a bit ago (with the house/car/marriage/jobs/out of college/baby thing) I am often surprised to run into things that haven't changed or are so resistant to change. isn't that the one thing we can count on; that things, the way they are now, will change. can't we bet good money on that? maybe we reach a point where we are so tired of change (over the course of many years) in order to survive we need things to remain the same. Our stability comes from those things we can count on but when someone comes along to move those things forward we react so harshly; as if they are taking away of our life. not to that point yet. i hope never get there. so for now, change is the name of the game.
