its wednesday afternoon...

...and i can't think of anything better to do than take a nap. we settle friday on our new home. and i hear the business of settlement is just the beginning of the new things we'll be dealing with once we have the keys of our new home in our hands. someone asked me what i am doing this saturday and answered very naturally, "I'm cleaning out my gutters." Simple enough but as the words came out of my mouth i realized "i have gutters." not even sure i had even typed that word before. Now that and the lawn and the walls and the everything will be where most of my free time will get poured out... but kristi and i are excited. i think we've been in a pit for too long and this new home, new start thing will be a good thing for us. we're looking forward to having a home and yes even cleaning out our gutters...
