so yeah...

haven't written much since may... emery has become such a huge part of our lives that other things (like my insignificant blog) have had to be set down for a bit. going to start trying to write more regularly over the next couple of months. in particular i want to write about a couple of things swirling around in my head:

1) just read Crazy Love by Francis Chan and have been really challenged by it. finding myself wanting to be generous with all the things God has so richly blessed kristi and i with. working with matt & adam about how to practically live out this love for god we have and i think the challenges from this book might be a catalyst for some of that.

2) just started a new series at the 1100 Gathering here at Davisville on hope. we're taking about 6 weeks to look at hope is talked baout in 1 peter. hope to write some of my and others reactions to the series here.

3) i want to post more pics of my family. after meeting with kevin for a bit, i know i constantly have trouble focusing on the things in my life i have so much to be thankful for. so i want to show you here the things i am most thankful for. so looks for some pics.

so that's the plan. let's see how i do:)
